CDL-A drivers in Tyler can expect practical regional scheduling, no-touch freight, and every other weekend home time on this regional dry van position with Jamie Tharpe Trucking.

This CDL-A driver position runs Northeast regional routes with no NYC deliveries. Drivers haul 100% no-touch dry van freight and are home every other weekend for a full 2-day reset.

Driver Requirements:

Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL License
6 months of tractor trailer experience
Complete Clearinghouse requirements for compliance

Position Details:

Paid all miles (loaded and empty)
Mostly drop and hook freight
All dry van loads
No-touch freight

Fleet equipment is switched out every year to help maintain safety and compliance standards across the fleet.

Driver Perks & Equipment:

• No slip seating - assigned trucks stay with the driver
• Rider and pet policy starts immediately
• APUs and inverters installed in all trucks

Paid orientation lasts only 2.5 days with a private hotel room and meals covered. If drivers need help getting to orientation, flights or rental cars are provided at no cost.

Drivers also receive minimum pay protection and can take assigned trucks home to help maximize home time opportunities.

Hiring Process:

After receiving your information, our recruiting team will review your qualifications and contact you about the next steps. Once officially offered the position, orientation scheduling will be arranged with travel, hotel, and meals covered. Drivers also receive orientation pay during the process.
