This regional CDL-A position out of Salt Lake City offers dependable weekly mileage, organized freight movement, and scheduled home time every 7-8 days.

This account operate within a structured western regional network designed to support steady freight movement and consistent scheduling throughout the week. Drivers are typically out 7-8 days before returning home for a 48-hour reset at their home base location.

Routes remain focused west of I-35 with dispatch planning structured to support reliable weekly miles and practical home time scheduling.

Drivers operate newer assigned equipment equipped with Platform Science tablets and E-logs to support route planning and communication. Jamie Tharpe Trucking partners with Penske to reduce downtime and keep drivers moving efficiently.

Rider and pet programs are available immediately after hire, and drivers may qualify for additional monthly earnings through the company fuel program.

Orientation is completed over 3 days with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals provided for attending drivers.

Qualifications:

Drivers must have a valid CDL-A license and at least 6 months of experience within the last 12 months. No speeding violations of 15 MPH or more within the last year. Careless or reckless driving charges are reviewed case by case.

Drivers must also maintain a valid medical card and Clearinghouse/FMCSA compliance.
